Bound In Boston XI: March 24 & 25, 2012

Location

The rope con will be at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, 1125 Boston-Providence Turnpike, Norwood, MA. The hotel is 30 minutes from Boston, 35 minutes from Providence, 1 hour from Nashua, 4 hours from NYC, and 25 hours from Salt Lake City. A map of the area is here.

If you don't have a car, here's some information about getting to the hotel using mass transit.

The hotel houses the One Bistro restaurant, and there are plenty of other restaurants and pizza joints in the area.

The hotel has extended a special guest room rate of $99 single/$119 double - if you want to book a room, you need to call the hotel directly and tell them you're with the Bound In Boston group. You must make your reservation by February 25, 2011 to lock in the rate. (If you miss the deadline, you can still call the hotel and ask for the room block rate - if they still have rooms available, they might be able to give you a room at the lower rate.) The special rate is not available if you reserve a room through the hotel's website; you have to call the hotel or write to Lucy.Finnerty@hobbsbrook.com.

The hotel's number is 781-769-7900.

This Bound In Boston website serves members of the bdsm rope bondage kink and fetish communities in the Boston, Massachusetts area. It is particularly of interest to people who are interested in Shibari or Kinbaku. These are the origins of the Japanese-styled rope bondage techniques that we learn about and practice. Very often people in the kink and fetish communities are interested in rope bondage, having heard the terms Shibari and Kinbaku, but are uneducated in their origins and use. While we are not technically teaching the pure rope bondage forms of Shibari or Kinbaku, we base our teachings on those artforms. Our workshops are in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Hemp, jute - different types of rope are used.

There's nothing down here.
