Bound In Boston XII: October 13 & 14, 2012

Friday evening Meet & Greet

The Meet & Greet will take place in two parts, to accomodate those who can get to Norwood in the early evening, and those who can't arrive until later on. You do not have to be staying at the hotel to attend either part of the Meet & Greet - it's open to all registered con attendees.

Part I: Dinner - 6:00 PM

For people who can get down to Norwood in time for dinner, we'll be sharing a meal at The Chateau. The Chateau is an Italian family restaurant - their menu should have something for everyone, and their prices are quite reasonable.

The restaurant is at  404 Providence Highway Norwood, MA, about 2.3 miles north of the Sheraton hotel where the con is being held. (If you're coming from the hotel, you have to turn right out of the parking lot, take the next U-turn, and then drive back up Route 1 for about 2 miles; The Chateau will be on your right.)

We'll begin gathering at the restaurant at 6:00 PM; feel free to arrive at any time after then. They'll seat us all in the same section, but we'll be sharing the space with other restaurant patrons, so please be discreet with your conversation!

Part II: Socialize at the hotel - 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM

We will have the use of one of the classrooms for informal socializing, games, and general hanging out. This is a great, low-key opportunity to meet some of your fellow con attendees. Quiet play will be permitted, but this isn't intended to be a real play party.

Hotel policy forbids us from bring in any food or beverages, so unfortunately we can't provide anything to eat or drink.

This Bound In Boston website serves members of the bdsm rope bondage kink and fetish communities in the Boston, Massachusetts area. It is particularly of interest to people who are interested in Shibari or Kinbaku. These are the origins of the Japanese-styled rope bondage techniques that we learn about and practice. Very often people in the kink and fetish communities are interested in rope bondage, having heard the terms Shibari and Kinbaku, but are uneducated in their origins and use. While we are not technically teaching the pure rope bondage forms of Shibari or Kinbaku, we base our teachings on those artforms. Our workshops are in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Hemp, jute - different types of rope are used.

There's nothing down here.
