Bound In Boston XI: March 24 & 25, 2012

Ticketing FAQ

  • Why must I buy a ticket in advance?

To prevent over-crowding, only a limited number of tickets will be sold. Given our past attendence numbers, we expect the con to sell out.

  • Can I pay my admission at the door?

No - you must buy your tickets before you arrive.

  • I don't like giving out my real name online - can I buy tickets online without giving my real name?

You do not have to give your real name on the ticketing website - any name you enter will be the name you have to give when you check in. Your credit card will be charged correctly as long as you enter your correct address.

  • Are the tickets actual, physical tickets, or are they electronic?

You can choose paperless "will-call" tickets - your name will be on a list at the event when you arrive. Or, you can choose to have physical paper tickets mailed to you.

  • Is there a service fee for purchasing tickets online?

Yes - there's a small service fee, less than $3.00 per ticket.

  • Are tickets refundable?

Yes, tickets are refundable until Thu, 3/8/2012 at 11:59 PM EST.

  • If I buy a ticket but I don't end up attending, can I get a refund?

    Nope.

  • Are my tickets transferable? Can I sell them?

No, you may not give or sell your tickets to someone else.

  • Can I pay for my tickets with a personal check?

Sorry - no. All ticket purchases must be made through the ticketing website, using a credit card.

This Bound In Boston website serves members of the bdsm rope bondage kink and fetish communities in the Boston, Massachusetts area. It is particularly of interest to people who are interested in Shibari or Kinbaku. These are the origins of the Japanese-styled rope bondage techniques that we learn about and practice. Very often people in the kink and fetish communities are interested in rope bondage, having heard the terms Shibari and Kinbaku, but are uneducated in their origins and use. While we are not technically teaching the pure rope bondage forms of Shibari or Kinbaku, we base our teachings on those artforms. Our workshops are in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Hemp, jute - different types of rope are used.
